Hi! 5 friends of mine and I formed a private company 5 years ago. To raise capital, we contributed a standard amount per month. That contribution has continued even after we incorporated the company. I have been keeping books in excel. I have used QB Enterprise v14 where I work. I would want to manage our private company in QB. The online version is most appropriate as it will provide the 6 of us opportunity to access our database from where ever we are. I did sign up for a free trail for simple start. I realized I only have option to create customers, employees and suppliers. I would still love to have an option to create a list of category that do not fall within the three categories. Where do I get that?September 11, 2018 at 10:10 pm #246318
Hi John, that is a great question! To my knowledge QuickBooks Online does not offer the Others Name list like the desktop version. I can’t think of a workaround but why don’t you contact the Intuit support team to see if they can make a recommendation? You can access the support phone # or chat with a rep by logging into your QBO account and clicking on the help menu in the upper right hand corner.
If you do find a workaround, please come back and share it with me and your peers. 🙂
