Been selling on line for over 19+ years. Sell New, Used, Refurbished general merchandise, equipment and such. Basically sell items purchased from surplus, wholesale, closed business, auctions and such.
Business is a LLC, Location is out of our home, inventory in outbuildings on our home property. Have 2 commercial style trucks (flat bed and bed with lift gate) other is pick up.
Customers rarely come to our home unless person is local and see our listings from online source.
Looking for BOP, Inland Marine Cargo policy any companies or suggestions.
Current insurances such as Liberty Mutual, Nationwide, StateFarm say they do not insure BOP for E-Commerce (online sells) business’s (?)
We do not make our products, nor do we sell vitamins, perishables, personal hygiene items and such
Mainly Industrial, electronics, restaurant, medical/laboratory equipment, general home, business equipment in general. Any help or direction is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Commercial insurance agents should be able to help you with this. Mine was through Lloyds of London with a local commercial agent, but that was a few years back. I’d contact a local commercial agent in your area and start with that. Good luck!
