Which Freelance Website is Right for You?
Most Helpful Positive User Review
“The company has managed to control workflow in its system, which is really hard to do in itself, as well as regulate multiple payment processes. The chat and milestone billing processes are also easy and simple for repeat work.”

Most Helpful Negative User Review
“I’m not sure if it’s directly related to the company, but I barely find what I need as an employer around my area in Europe. Maybe the company needs to perform effective marketing activities to bring more technical people from West Europe to the platform. Also, I’ve faced some fake people which is not good for users who are not very knowledgeable on technical stuff — they can be fooled by these fake people and that’s a bad reputation for Upwork! So, more control over profiles could be useful.”
Upwork offers three pricing options. Upwork’s basic plan charges a 2.75% commission fee per invoice, while Upwork Pro charges a $500 one-time fee for every profile search + 10% commission fee. Their most expensive plan is called Upwork Enterprise, which requires a quote from the site. The main difference between the plans is the services included.
