Summary of User Reviews
We scoured hundreds of reviews and determined that Webs.com has mainly negative ratings. Here’s what we found:
What Webs.com does well:
According to the positive reviews online, Webs.com clients like the easy-to-use website builder which comes with dynamic themes and templates. For the price of the plans, Webs.com provides enough features for small businesses to start their own website.
What Webs.com does not do well:
According to negative reviews, it is difficult to contact Web’s support team. Transferring domains can take too much time as well, which means that any progress for SEO on the new host can take a toll on the website’s ranking. There are also no export features for transferring files and pages.
Most Helpful Positive User Review
According to one positive user review on SiteJabber, he has designed many church websites using Webs.com. He likes that they provide 24/7 online chat service and a lot of templates and backgrounds to choose from. He mentioned that a great thing about the website builder is that you do not need to adhere to a certain template. Your site can be very dynamic with background audio, YouTube videos, etc.
Most Helpful Negative User Review
“Do not use this website. It was great 3-5 years ago when there were no other affordable drag-and-drop website building services. Webs.com merged with VistaPrint recently and since then, their support time has gone from within 24 hours to 48 hours – 2 weeks (according to the rep I just chatted with). They do not allow you to export ANYTHING if you decide to leave, and transferring a domain is nearly impossible. In the last 6 months, I’ve had 4 weeks of downtime on my website which was enough to do some major damage to my SEO ratings. Try complaining and you’ll get no support from their team.”
