Yeastar S20 VoIP PBX FAQs
What is the advantage of the callback feature and how can I use it on the Yeastar S-Series VoIP PBX?
The callback feature allows callers to hang up and get called back to Yeastar S-Series IP Phone system. This could reduce the cost for the users who work out of the office using their own mobile phones. First, create a callback. Make sure the caller ID number is the same as the one shown on in the CDR page. Next, apply it in the inbound route. This should allow you to use the callback feature when necessary.
What is blacklisting and whitelisting?
Blacklist is used to block an incoming/outgoing call. If the number of incoming or outgoing call is listed in the number blacklist, the caller will hear the following prompt: “The number you have dialed is not in service. Please check the number and try again.” The system will then disconnect the call. Whitelist, on the other hand, is used to allow incoming/outgoing numbers. Please note that Whitelist has a higher priority than Blacklist.
