How To Make Payments on the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card
- Online services: You can pay your credit card bills from either the Amex website or its official mobile app. Given that you’ll only need to register once, you don’t need to worry about your details falling into the wrong hands as both the site and the app are secure from fraudulent activities.
- Via phone: Simply call the number on the back of your card, and once your bank account is enrolled, you can save time by paying your American Express bill over the phone every month. Payments will be withdrawn from your U.S. Bank checking account
- Via direct bank payment: Direct Debits let you pay bills automatically; hence, you don’t need to worry about missing due dates. You just need to provide your bank account details to American Express and tell them the amount to pay every month. Insurance Protection
- Trip delay insurance: You’ll be reimbursed for certain additional expenses purchased on your card―up to $500 per trip―if your trip is delayed for more than 6 hours. To be eligible, a round trip should be paid for entirely using your American Express credit card. This insurance only covers a maximum of two claims per cardholder within a 12-consecutive-month period.
- Trip cancellation & interruption insurance: The trip cancellation and interruption insurance will reimburse the non-refundable travel expenses purchased using your American Express credit card if a round-trip is paid for entirely with your card and your trip is interrupted or canceled for a covered reason. Coverage is limited to $10,000 per trip and $20,000 per cardholder, per 12-consecutive-month period.
- Travel accident insurance: This American Express credit card offers travel accident insurance coverage of up to $500,000 for loss of limbs, sight, hearing, and death. The travel accident insurance only covers incidents within a 100-day window. Losses resulting from war or acts of war, self-inflicted injuries, certain ailments, physical or mental weakness, and injuries sustained from commuting aren’t covered.
- Baggage insurance plan: A baggage insurance plan is available to Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express cardholders. It offers between $250 and $1,250 coverage for lost carry-on bags, checked bags, and high-risk items. Some items, such as cash, cash equivalents, tickets, consumables, gadgets, prosthetics, living plants, and animals, aren’t covered.
- Car rental loss & damage insurance: The Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card offers car rental loss and damage insurance up to $75,000 per rental agreement for the first 30 consecutive days of a car rental. It covers the actual cost to repair the rental vehicle, its wholesale book value, or its purchase invoice price, whichever is the least.
- Premium roadside assistance: The Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card offers premium roadside assistance up to four times per year at no additional cost. The available services include towing up to 10 miles, winching, jump starts, flat tire assistance, lockout services, and gas delivery. This feature doesn’t cover rental vehicles, motorcycles, unlicensed vehicles, taxis, and tractors or trucks weighing 10,000 pounds or more.
- Purchase protection: Items purchased using your Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card are covered if they’re stolen or damaged within 90 days from the purchase date. Purchase protection covers up to $10,000 per incident and up to $50,000 per cardholder each year. Some items are excluded from this coverage, such as perishables, tickets, motorized vehicles, permanent fixtures, items for inventory, preowned items, living plants, and animals.
- Extended warranty protection: The Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card offers extended warranties on purchases with warranties of five years or less.
