The best business credit cards with airport lounge access will provide free or discounted access to airport lounges. While many will carry an annual fee, these credit cards often carry premium travel perks, such as credits for TSA PreCheck, complimentary elite status at hotels, priority boarding, free checked bags, and more. If you travel frequently, you’ll be able to get your money’s worth from these benefits.

Why I like it
While there are lots of credit cards that offer airport lounge access, many will only provide access to a single type, which may not always be available in the airport you’re flying out of. The Business Platinum Card® from American Express, however, provides access to a wide range of lounges, increasing your chances that you’ll find one available during your travels. You’ll have access to over 1,400 airport lounges through the Global Lounge Collection, including:
- The Centurion® Lounge
- Escape Lounges – The Centurion® Studio Partner
- Delta Sky Club® (when flying Delta)
- Lufthansa Lounges (when flying Lufthansa Group)
- Plaza Premium, and
- Priority PassTM Select Lounges
The Centurion® Lounge and Escape Lounges are two of my favorites. On a recent trip from Dallas to Arizona, I was able to make use of each. It was a great way to get some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the airport terminal, and I was blown away by the quality of the food, drinks, and bar service.
In addition to complimentary elite hotel status with Marriott and Hilton, other notable travel perks available on The Business Platinum Card® from American Express include statement credits for TSA PreCheck® and CLEAR® Plus. Each of these can help you get through airport security lines more quickly. I once flew out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and was able to get through security in under five minutes. My travel companion at the time, who had neither, had to wait nearly 45 minutes before he was cleared through security.
While the card does carry an annual fee of $695, the value of its perks easily total to more than $1,400+. For those reasons, this card also made our list of the best business credit cards for travel.
- 5x points per dollar on flights and prepaid hotels booked on AmexTravel.com
- 1.5x points per dollar in key business categories and on eligible purchases of $5K or more
- 1x point per dollar on all other purchases

- Up to $360 statement credits on purchases with Indeed (up to $90 back per quarter)
- Up to $150 statement credits for eligible annual prepaid business plan purchases of Adobe Creative Cloud form teams or Adobe Acrobat Pro for teams through June 30, 2025

Why I like it
While the Chase Sapphire Reserve® is a personal credit card, it can be used for business expenses. After enrolling in Priority Pass™ Select, you’ll be able to get complimentary access to over 1,300+ airport lounges worldwide, as well as all Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club locations. Coupled with the value of its other travel benefits, it was an easy decision for this card to be near the top of my list for the best credit cards with airport lounge access.
The card carries an annual fee of $550, but if you travel frequently, you can more than make up for that cost by what you’ll get in savings and perks. For example, the card offers an annual $300 travel credit that’s incredibly easy to use, as it’s automatically applied to your account on purchases made using your card in the travel category. Users in online forums report purchases that have triggered the credit have included things like hotels, toll charges, metered parking, and train tickets. I myself even had it credited on hotel room service when I traveled to New York.
Other notable benefits include hundreds of dollars in exclusive partner benefits, including DoorDash, The EditSM, and TSA PreCheck.

Why I like it
I chose the Capital One Venture X Business card for those who do not travel frequently because it has a low effective annual fee. The card carries a $395 annual fee, but you can also receive an annual $300 credit for bookings through Capital One Travel. Additionally, instead of limiting your lounge access to Priority PassTM, the Capital One Venture X Business card also includes free access to Capital One Lounges.
Other perks that can help lower your effective cost of carrying this card include the ability to receive 10,000 bonus miles every year, starting on your first anniversary. While the value of miles can vary depending on the details of the trip you book, data from readers in online forums suggests that points can be worth approximately one cent per point. To get you through airport security more quickly, you’ll also receive up to a $120 statement credit on Global Entry or TSA PreCheck.
Unlike some of the other cards in this guide, the Capital One Venture X Business card is a pay-in-full card, meaning your balance must always be paid off in full every month.

How I selected the best business credit cards with lounge access
I considered the following in selecting the best business credit cards with lounge access:
- Number and types of airport lounges being give complimentary access to
- Value-added benefits (such as credits for TSA PreCheck and statement credits for travel purchases)
- Premium travel benefits (such as elite hotel status, companion certificates, free checked bags, and priority boarding)
- Annual fee of the card
- Ongoing rewards program and value of points or miles earned
Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Free access to airport lounges offers complimentary amenities, such as snacks and beverages, alcohol, Wi-Fi, power outlets, restrooms, and comfortable seats, to relax or work while waiting for your flight. It’s important to note that amenities may vary depending on what is offered by your chosen credit card. Make sure to ask the issuer for the complete access details.
The business credit card with airport lounge access that’s right for you will vary depending on your unique business’s needs. To find the best one, consider the following factors:
- Fees: Most of the best business credit cards with lounge access charge high annual fees in exchange for premium travel perks. Consider the perks that are most useful to you and determine if the cost of the card justifies its benefits.
- Rewards: Depending on your spending habits, consider cards that let you earn rewards on where you typically spend the most. This allows you to maximize your earning potential by simply using the card for your everyday expenses.
- Features: Aside from complimentary or discounted airport lounge access, check the features that come with the card, including expense reporting systems, additional employee cards, and insurance coverage.
- Airlines: If you frequently fly on a specific airline, such as Delta, United Airlines, or American Airlines, getting co-branded cards is a clever idea. However, if you travel with various airlines, a card that’s not co-branded is a better option.
Using a personal credit card for business is generally not prohibited. However, you need to account for your spending carefully and keep your business and personal expenses separate. Although, ideally, a business credit card is a better option for business owners, especially if you want to build your business credit. But if you cannot qualify for a business credit card yet, you may use a personal credit card that’s dedicated solely to your business to help avoid commingling your finances.
Bottom line
The best business credit card with airport lounge access provides rewards and perks that align with your business’s needs. To find which one is right for you, determine whether you would benefit more from an airline-specific credit card or one that allows access to independent lounges with more locations worldwide. Be sure to consider how frequently you plan to visit airport lounges, as most of these cards require a high annual fee.
If your business requires you to travel frequently, you may want multiple credit cards with airport lounge access. Consider one card associated with your favorite airline and another with a wider selection of club access, even if you fly with a different airline. Also, make use of the perks and benefits to get the most out of your annual fees.
