How Cash Back Business Credit Card Rewards Work
With a cash back business credit card, you earn cash rewards as you make eligible purchases with your card. At the end of the billing cycle, your statement shows how much you’ve earned in rewards. For example, if your purchases add up to $5,000 at the end of the billing cycle, and your card’s rewards rate is 2%, your cash reward for the month would be $100.
The cash back will either be applied as a statement credit, directly deposited into your account, or sent to you as a check in the mail. Some issuers will allow rewards to accumulate over time, and you can choose when to apply them. Be sure to read the fine print to check if your rewards have an expiration date.
Bottom Line
When you’re looking for the best business credit card for cash back rewards, compare the card’s spend categories, such as gas, restaurants, and internet, with your own everyday expenses. This will tell you if the card is right for you. If your expenses vary from month to month, you might benefit more from an unlimited-use card with no spend categories.
