These include the G.722 codec and the OPUS Interactive codec. Unfortunately, GoTo Connect only uses the G.722 codec for in-network calls, which means it defaults to the 20-year-old G.711 codec when dealing with calls from external numbers.
RingCentral, on the other hand, uses the SILK codec in addition to the G.711 codec, which was developed by Skype as a replacement for G.711. SILK is used when both endpoints have support for the codec but switch to the HD audio G.722 or G.711 when connecting to outside numbers.
